This Indiana Police Officer totally gets the meaning of the word compassion. How he helps this child having a rough time makes me want to wrap my arms around both of them.
Here's his story:
This little fella was having a tough morning and fell out on the floor. I seen his mother step back and look. She stated this is how he is expressing himself lately. I decided to get on his level and talk to him.
He started to cry so I wiped his tears and told him it will be ok.
As an adult sometimes all we want is one person to stop, get on our level and maybe wipe our tears. These children are entitled to bad days just as us, so give them that moment to bring it together.
Get on someone's level today and make them smile!! Spread PEACE and LOVE you might be that person that gives them hope!
I can totally relate. I have bad days.
Days where I just want to cry on someone's shoulder while they hug me and and tell me everything's going to be okay.
This policeman is a gem. It takes a special person to get through to a kid who "loses it" and bring them comfort.
Officer, you are my hero!!

Bravo officer, if only there were police, just people in general could have this man’s compassion and empathy what the world could be.
My heart swells with pride for that officer. He showed not only real kindness but empathy, which unfortunately is often missing. Bless his heart. I’m certain that young man will never forget that moment or the officer.
