Darius Brown has a heart of gold, dedicating himself to helping shelter dogs get adopted. His beautiful handcrafted bowties have shelter dogs looking their best, so they stand a better chance of finding a home.
He is all the more amazing as he never let his challenges hold him back from reaching for the stars. Diagnosed at 2-years-old with speech, comprehension, and motor skill delays, he nonetheless learned how to master a sewing machine.
At 8-years-old he discovered his passion for making bow ties. In 2017, Darius began using his passion to help pups impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
Darius felt these displaced dogs would find forever homes faster if his bowties could make them look cuter.

As he began to get more involved with animal shelters, Darius was heartbroken when he found out how many animals are euthanized on a daily basis.
It was then that Darius found his true mission - to help save the lives of as many shelter dogs and cats as he could, by donating his handmade bowties to rescue centers across the U.S.A.
Darius, your beautiful heart takes my breath away!
